Webinar presented on Thursday, April 19, 2018, from 12:00-13:30 (Eastern Time) by Sawsen Lakhal of the University of Sherbrooke and René Bélanger of the Cégep de Matane.

A presentation of the results of this project, which identifies some of the elements that drive student perseverance in college-level distance learning programs. These determinants focus on technology used and the communities of learning created through the technology employed. Students registered on distance learning programs offered by colleges which are members of the FADIO group (Cégep de Matane, Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles, Cégep de La Pocatière, Cégep de Rimouski, and Cégep de Rivière-du-Loup) and the Cégep à distance were targeted for this research project. Two data collection methods were used: an online questionnaire and a discussion group.
